Boomer

Boomer is a 4 month old puppy that ate 2 thumb tacks. Dr. O'Keefe used the endoscope to remove them from the puppy's stomach. An endoscope is a flexible tube containing a light source and a camera. The tube is passed into the puppy's stomach through the esophagus and special tools are used to grab the thumb tacks and remove them. By using the endoscope, the puppy avoided having major abdominal surgery to remove the tacks.
